Should this project be declared officially abandoned?

I'm running an implementation of this library and it works great. Unfortunately there is no activity in the last year, not even the documentation link have been updated and the last release was on June 2015, to this date seven years ago.

Though I'm grateful for this implementation because it works great, but we can't implement it in new projects because of what I just said before.
