Entry 1

It is the first day. The first day of the diary. It's been a long day. Or a short day. Depending on who you ask. For me, it's been quite short. Very short. I woke up today at about noon. I don't know why, but it's 20:38 now and I am tired. I haven't even been awake 12 hours and I want to sleep. This isn't right. I didn't even stay up late last night. I don't get it. These sentences are getting short. That's meant to make it sound more instense when you read it. Yes, I spelled intense wrong, and I decided to keep writing instead of fixing it. How's your day been? I know you won't be able to reply, but that doesn't matter. Just think about it. You're day. You are day. Yes. I'm Night. You're Day. Don't ask.

-What the heck is this?

+About TPPIC -

Test Pack Please Ignore (TPPI), and subsequently TPPI2, are Modpacks for Minecraft.

+

Test Pack Please Ignore: Continued (TPPIC) is a modpack making team formed after the TPPI team discontinued their latest and final modpack, TPPI2

-

They features a vast amount of mods, while still maintaining a balanced, stable feel.

+

TPPIC's first project was TPPI2C, a continuation of TPPI2 from where it was left off. After completion of the TPPI2C modpack, it was decided upon that TPPI2C would be pushed as the 1.0.0 update to TPPI2.

-

We pride ourselves on making sure our packs feel like everything works together. Less time fighting over making mods work together means more time playing and enjoying the game. We have gone to great lengths to improve stability and coherence, which is needed with so many mods in the pack.

+

TPPIC's first original modpack, TPPI3C, is currently underway and there is no reasonable ETA that we can give at this time. We are currently assembling mod lists and working out how we plan on putting the pack together.

+ +

Just as the TPPI team once said, "We pride ourselves on making sure our packs feel like everything works together. Less time fighting over making mods work together means more time playing and enjoying the game. We have gone to great lengths to improve stability and coherence, which is needed with so many mods in the pack," and we, the TPPIC team, wholeheartedly agree with this ideaology and WILL continue to use this as a guideline for our future modpack projects.

-Well, how can I start?

+TPPI2C [1.7.10]

-

TPPI (Minecraft 1.6.4) is currently available on two modpack platforms: Feed The Beast and Technic

+

Test Pack Please Ignore 2 (Continued) is a the "official unofficial" continuation of Test Pack Please Ignore 2, by the TPPI team.

-

TPPI2 (Minecraft 1.7.10) is currently available on Feed The Beast only, as a beta version.

+

TPPI2C is available on the FTBLauncher and the Curse Client.

-FTB

+TPPI3C [1.10.2] -

You can find TPPI under the 3rd Party Packs tab in the FTB Launcher. Simply hit launch and you are ready to go!

+

Test Pack Please Ignore 3 (Continued) is a modpack designed to mash up the new and the old mods, to create a semi-retro-style modpack built with heavy balance and mod interaction as top priorities.

-

To try out the TPPI2 beta version, use the pack code "SuperWhaleKick" (no quotes) to add the pack to your launcher, then it can be launched in the same way.

+

TPPI3C is currently in development and will not be ready for quite a while. We cannot give a reasonable ETA at this time. The modpack, when released, will be released onto the Curse Client.

+ +

+Launchers

-Technic

+FTBLauncher -

TPPI is the latest main modpack for the Technic platform. This means that it is available on the Technic Launcher without any special URLs or codes needed! Simply download the Technic Launcher and TPPI will be in the list of modpacks on the left. Note: You will likely need to increase the memory allocation to ATLEAST 2.5GB if using the Technic Launcher.

+

To play TPPI2C on the FTB Launcher (To download the legacy FTB launcher, click one of the legacy buttons under the big red download button), enter the pack code "SuperWhaleKick" (no quotes) to add the pack to your launcher, then it can be found under the 3rd Party Packs tab. Simply hit launch and you are ready to go!

+

Do note that the pack currently needs java 7 or 8 to run at all. Please make sure you have the proper version installed.

+ +

+Curse App [Windows and macOS Only]

-

TPPI2 is not yet available on the Technic launcher, but that will change soon™!

+

To play TPPI2C on the Curse App. Simply naviate to the Minecraft tab on the left side, and search for "Test Pack Please Ignore 2" (no quotes). Install it and launch (it will launch into the vanilla Minecraft launcher).

Do note that the pack currently needs java 7 or 8 to run at all. Please make sure you have the proper version installed.
