I found this sentence in the docs:
Support for configuring the encryption key on-the-fly will be implemented in a future release of Home Assistant.
When is this planned? as the deprication get's closer and closer.
I would need a way to set the encryption key with the password and use it from this point on, so that i can update via api /network
Current limitations
Need to connect to devices via usb to set encryption key
Technical benefits
allow smooth migration to encryption key
