I just spent hours trying to figure out how to set up this on GCE, to no avail. I don't have many printable words to describe the documentation quality...

In principle, they should have a VM image one can install, and enable using a trial license. But no, it's an endless maze of meaninglessly unordered, not working, gcloud commands, quickly ending up in various rabbit holes.

Not giving up yet, but it's really 🤮

@mkoeppe - basically, I was able to start the trial, sent you an invite, download a trial license. (Step 1: Download License
sagemath Evaluation License (45 days)
Organization ID 212138 • Expires 2023-02-19)

But I can't get authorised for "downloading" the software, somehow.
As I click on (Step 2: Download the Appliance
Now that you have your license, head over to the download page to get started with your platform of choice.

I get deauthorised.

That's on Chromium. Perhaps a browser bug, I'll try Safari now.

In step 2 I can select "GitHub in the Cloud", where it prompts me for "Project" and "ID"
