I build tools to help scientists work with genomic data.
My main focus is on creating practical, efficient, and user-friendly software for analyzing biological sequences. I lead the development of the HyPhy package, a collection of tools for evolutionary analysis. I also contribute to other open-source projects.
I have a background in applied mathematics and computer science. My work involves developing statistical models, computational methods, and algorithms for analyzing large datasets. I'm interested in the challenges of making scientific software that is both powerful and easy to use.
