January 31, 2026

1. Given the news of pipeline changes for V3.1, I will be updating the repos AFTER the live update of Wuthering Waves for V3.1. You can expect to check back here around February 7, 2026 (could be earlier).
2. V2.8 Configs will be ported to V3.x folder (They will also be updated don't worry)
3. Depending on the possible changes for the new version, I would probably start releasing the configs in a zipped release package (only after at least a week of tested use to ensure favorable experience)

Config Selector Guide for ( V2.8 Configs || V3.x Configs )

Important Note: Both V2.8 and V3.x configs ARE working for the current version

V2.8 Configs will be moved to Old Configs when Version 3.1 Launches.

• Configs for 3.0 will be streamlined into a more adaptive build, with one focused solely for stability and performance.
• Support for V2.8 Configs will still be available until the end of Version 3.0
• By Version 3.1, we'll fully transition to the [V3.x] Configs

• Expanded Devices list for Stable and Potato Configs. (OPTIONAL UPDATE)

• Updated [V3.x] DeviceProfiles.ini
• Added device profiles for mid-end devices and potato config
• Mostly minor and optional updates.
• Restructured main README.md
• Old changes moved to the bottom part of readme.
  Notes: 🛠️ Users are encouraged to use configs in the Old Configs folder if the latest ones are incompatible with their devices.
  📅 Release target for updating website: Sometime in 2026 (I'm replanning this whole thing, hopefully I get the time)

WuWa-Config is a custom-built set of configuration files designed to boost graphics, stability, and performance in Wuthering Waves on Android devices.

Hopefully, this guide will help you unlock your device’s full visual and gameplay potential.

🛠️ How to Install (Beginner Friendly)

• A Windows PC or laptop
• A Connecting Cable (USB,Lightning, or Type C)
• Your Android device

🔧 Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Connect your Android device to your PC via USB.
2. Select "File Transfer" (MTP) mode on your phone.
3. Open File Explorer on your PC.
4. Navigate to the following folder:

📂 File Location Path

To access or modify configuration files for *Wuthering Waves*, navigate to the following folder of your Android device:

Internal Storage/
└── Android/
    └── data/
        └── com.kurogame.wutheringwaves.global/
            └── files/
                └── UE4Game/
                    └── Client/
                        └── Client/
                            └── Saved/
                                └── Config/
                                    └── Android/

5. Paste the provided:
   • Engine.ini
   • DeviceProfiles.ini

The complete path to the correct config folder should look something like this.
In this case, the device I used is Poco X6 Pro 5G

This PC\POCO X6 Pro 5G\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.kurogame.wutheringwaves.global\files\UE4Game\Client\Client\Saved\Config\Android

⚠️ Overwrite existing files if prompted.

6. (Optional) Paste the VulkanProgramBinaryCache folder one level above if included.
7. Launch Wuthering Waves and enjoy! 🚀
