[Bug]: Failed to get input node 0 for group node child 99:1 with slot 0 #4989
Description
Prerequisites
- I am running the latest version of ComfyUI
- I have searched existing issues to make sure this isn't a duplicate
- I have tested with all custom nodes disabled (see how)
What happened?
After updating ComfyUI three days ago using both the Comfy CLI (comfy install) and the standard installation, I encountered the following error when converting nodes into a group:
"Failed to get input node 0 for group node child 99:1 with slot 0"
The error occurs only after the update—when I connect one node’s output to another node’s input and then convert them into a group node, the error immediately appears.
