Summary of Changes

Hello @cloud-java-bot, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request performs a routine version bump for the jib-maven-plugin, updating its snapshot version to 3.5.2-SNAPSHOT. This action typically follows a formal release, preparing the codebase for ongoing development towards the next version by ensuring all new builds reflect the upcoming iteration.

Highlights

  • Version Update: The project version in jib-maven-plugin/gradle.properties has been incremented from 3.5.1-SNAPSHOT to 3.5.2-SNAPSHOT.
  • Post-Release Preparation: This change is part of the standard release process, intended to be merged after the v3.5.1 release is complete, setting the stage for future development.

Code Review

This pull request prepares for the next development cycle by updating the version of jib-maven-plugin to 3.5.2-SNAPSHOT following the v3.5.1 release. My review points out a potential inconsistency: the version for jib-gradle-plugin has not been updated, which may be an oversight if both plugins are intended to be versioned in lock-step.

While you've updated the version for the Maven plugin, it appears the corresponding version in jib-gradle-plugin/gradle.properties is still 3.5.1-SNAPSHOT. Since both plugins seem to share the same version number, the Gradle plugin's version should likely also be updated to 3.5.2-SNAPSHOT to maintain consistency across the projects.
