Hall of Fame: Creating the right Incentives #1331

Ideation

While grinding for days, I stumbled across one or the other really nice, funny or valuable pearl of content now and then and based on the upvotes I noticed that this impression was not only mine.

It crossed my mind that it's actually a shame when certain content is only used for training instead of really pleasing the whole community, even though you would probably find well content quickly based on the classifications/upvotes.

When I came across the topic "rather empty landing page" (official website) (Discord), I thought about whether it wouldn't make sense to display exactly the pearls of content there, where it also has a signal effect.

Incentives

I believe that if you proactively put the best (human!) content on a pedestal, you also create the incentive to promote creative thinking/creating high quality/amusing content. Instead of reactively trying to say what you are not allowed to do, you could also focus on what you should do in the best case.

On the one hand, you create a "Hall of Fame" which provides additional incentives within the community, which have positive effects. On the other hand, you would have a relatively large amount of content that you could use dynamically on the main website and thus give new people the right mindset right away.

Ideally, a user could decide whether he wants to get named with his username there or not.

What do you guys think?

Further remarks: Inverting ChatGPT

I always adored ChatGPTs nice idea of showing dynamic AI-generated content when they are overloaded once again, why not inverting this concept (especially until MVP stage is reached) but show instead of AI content purposefully human content... (and preferably while not having problems).
