Seagate Firecuda 530 - No firmware update SU6SM100 possible

Firmware update per Seatools (Windows) and openSeaChest (CLI) reports successful operation, however, after a power cycle, even with the PSU turned off, the firmware remains at version SU6SM005.

Tried on 3 different 530s, all with the same results.

This is the same issue reported in Seagate/ToolBin#39

I already responded in your other issue, but I'm going to duplicate that here for now.

Can you share the output from these options?

openSeaChest_Firmware -d PDX --showFWDLInfo
openSeaChest_Firmware -d PDX --llInfo <-low level info from how the drive is attached. I'm mostly interested in which driver the device shows up under as there are a few different paths that can be taken to issue the command.

This will show a list of firmwares in the firmware slots in the drive. I'm just curious if it is on the drive, but did not switch to the correct slot.

I would also like to see the output from
openSeaChest_Firmware -d PDX --downloadFW SU6SM100.bin -v4 > veryveryverboseUpdate.txt
Then run the show fwdl option again, but this time verbose:
openSeaChest_Firmware -d PDX --showFWDLInfo -v4 > fwdlInfo.txt
