NFR: Persistent timeline view scale and zoom level

What is the nature of your issue
Selecting timeline view always defaults to day rang and max zoom out level

Details
It would be nice if the selected timeline view (either custom or pre-set) and the selected zoom level scale would be persistent. Going back and forth via the menu to e.g. montage and timeline, the default day view is presented instead of the last timeline range and zoom used.

e.g. I have a situation where the zoom level scale is set to either 1 minute or 5 minutes.
