Android: Http problem

I'm facing an odd problem - after a while ,http requests don't seem to be reaching my server when using the only Android device I have - Galaxy S3. I have no idea if this is a crosswalk issue or not - need to investigate.

The problem seems to be in montage view where I am getting full sized live views of all monitors --> in android, if some of the img src don't resolve in time, subsequent requests don't work.

I think I know the problem

issues multiple http requests when width/height/slider changes - this is not needed and is likely overwhelming crosswalk - I should move these outside of img src so img src is not reloaded each time. Ouch. BTW, also goes to prove that iOS' networking stack seems far more capable - it never balked on this

fixed. This was a doozy and took quite a bit of debugging.
Its a limitation or bug or whatever with Chrome

Had to rework montageview - Chrome has a problem with HTTP requests that don't close soon and you open multiple such streams. Long story. I had to rework this code to only get one frame (mode=single) from ZMS and not mode=stream and then write an interval timer to ask a single frame X times a second. Same effect, but more HTTP header overheads. Chrome however has no problem handling this because HTTP requests are closing soon. iOS handles both approaches - good on iOS!
