Video URLs undefined

Unable to view/download event videos, or see JPEG alarm frames.

Details

Using above software version I am unable to view any alarm frames, or view video from events. Debug logs show "undefined" as the beginning part of the URL string. Monitors display properly, can edit monitors within app.

Server is using a private (self-signed) SSL CA, which is added as a trusted root CA on all devices tested.

Logging in as admin user solves issue. Non-privileged user requires at least System View permissions for the app to work. However, logging in as non-privileged user from web interface and copying index.php?view=view_video... does not require that privilege level. If the app could default to the URL given in the configuration, this shouldn't be an issue any longer. Or, users just need to have at least System View permissions set.

I am on 1.33.
I have no problems using a non privileged user (tried on desktop and iOS) without System View

Make sure your user has "View" privileges for monitor

The current API needs view privileges. Please log an issue in Zoneminder githib repo if it should be changed. This is a ZM API issue
