This adds functionality to have the MSB in the address byte used for RW command which is a pattern that the BMP5xx and other devices use.
Right now the polarity is hard-coded to
1for reading and0for writing but ultimately it would be nice to have it be reversible for devices that use opposite of that. I need to think and try some more things to figure out the best way to do that.These changes go with a PR over in the BMP5xx repo that implements a combination driver that supports both I2C and SPI.
