For some reason this is still not working for me.

const appIsUnlocked = (resolve, reject) => (req, res, next) =>
  (isUnlocked(req) === true) ? resolve(req, res, next) : reject(req, res, next);

Using:

"eslint": "^2.5.1",

This works:
