FIRE Number = Annual Expenses / Withdrawal Rate
Example: $48,000 / 0.04 = $1,200,000
Coast Number = FIRE Number / (1 + Real Return)^Years
Barista Number = (Annual Expenses - Part-Time Income) / Withdrawal Rate
Your calculator inputs are automatically saved in your browser's local storage for convenience:

- URL takes precedence - Opening a link with parameters overrides saved values
- Easy to clear - Use the Reset button to clear both URL and saved data
All calculator inputs can also be stored in the URL. This means:
