Parts of message are not sent

I have a strange issue since using Astroid. From time to time it happens that when I reply to messages, a part of the message will not be sent. It seems it happens with messages where I quote. So I reply and in the preview I see:

I sent it out, but the receiver of the mail will just see some of first lines of the message, a reply, another quote part but without the reply on the last quote part.

This now already happened several times. I was now able to reproduce it for a message and logged it. @gauteh I'll send you the log in a private message.

(I am using Gvim in an external instance. As I said, when I finish the message I see the complete message I typed. )

Ok, thanks. If you open the sent message in astroid or in web-mail, do you see the complete message?

Also, have you saved this as a draft before hand, then editing before sending? Are you using msmtp for sending?

Yes, I see the complete message in astroid and just also checked with web-mail.

I have to correct that. I just got another report and for that message the message I can see in Astroid and web-mail just contains the first quoted parts but nothing more.

For the ones I know about, I did not first save it as draft. But it is possible that I closed gvim with "ZZ", and then opened it again with "Enter". (just did that here, too). I am using postfix (as also added to the wiki by me) in a configuration which I used before for mutt for quite a while.

As one of Matthias' failed messages receivers: No, there's no signature.

Interestingly, the last line (1. level quote) ends with a = in the source view, while the . at the end has been stripped away. The message was GPG signed.

Matthias: Was the signature supposed to be there? Are the other problematic messages also GPG signed. Max: Did the GPG signature verify alright? Messages will often end with '=' because of the quoted-base64 thing.

Do you notice the =2E appearing in the original message on a new line but not in Matthias' quote? Could this be part of the bug?

No. The other messages have not been encrypted or signed with GnuPG.

The one Max is mentioning was the one which also is not displayed in full length when I open it with Astroid. Here I have "signature verification failed". Regards, Matthias
