Crash in the prestate tracer originally reported on AvalancheGo here: https://github.com/ava-labs/avalanchego/issues/2235

The stacktrace in that issue indicates that it's the same issue that has already been fixed in upstream go-ethereum here: https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/pull/27691.
