"Invalid client" on sign in to AWS Builder ID

Problem

cannot sign in using AWS builder ID for code whisperer

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to vscode
2. Click on code whisperer
3. copy code and enter in to browser
4. sign into AWS builder ID

Expected behavior

sign in to AWS builder ID and let me use code whisperer?

System details (run the AWS: About Toolkit command)

• OS: Mac Big Sur
• Visual Studio Code version: 1.80.1
• AWS Toolkit version: 1.81.0

If you had previously tried to use AWS Builder Id awhile ago (several months), it's possible this is because of stale state. For troubleshooting, try moving/deleting the ~/.aws/sso/ folder (if it exists) in your home directory. Then restart vscode and try again.

If that doesn't work, can you provide the Toolkit logs (check that private info is removed)?

1. In VSCode settings, ensure that "aws log level" is "debug".
2. Perform the steps to reproduce the issue.
3. Use the AWS: View Toolkit Logs command to get the logs.

Had the same issue and the solution @justinmk3 stated about removing the ~/.aws/sso folder worked.
