Denglisch

Thanks for visiting, this repo is now archived and read-only. If you want to use this software, it will require significant updates to be functional and secure.

Mobile-formatted German-English dictionary, using Sinatra and jQTouch.

Setup

• git clone git://github.com/boone/denglisch.git

• cd denglisch

• bundle

• rake db:migrate

• download de-en.txt from ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/Local/urz/ding/de-en/ into the data/ directory

• rake import_data

• ruby denglisch.rb

• Visit localhost:4567

• Enter a German or English word and click Search

It also works well on a Mac using the Pow server (pow.cx).
