[bug] Docker doesn't want to start consistently

Petra mentioned during a meeting that she has to run gradle with docker in order to run ByteChef properly

The error happens because the ByteChef backend (API server) is not running.

What’s going on:

• Vite (the client) is running at http://127.0.0.1:5173/.
• For login and other API calls, the client sends requests to a proxy, which forwards them to the backend at 127.0.0.1:9555.
• Nothing is listening on port 9555 → ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:9555.
• Because of that, login fails: the /api/authentication request cannot reach the server, so you get an error page and the “go back” message.

What you need to do for bytechef to work on localhost: start the ByteChef backend.

• From the project (e.g. from the repository root):
• Infrastructure (optional, only if you use Docker for DB/Redis):

cd server
docker compose -f docker-compose.dev.infra.yml up -d
cd ..

Backend application (required):

./gradlew -p server/apps/server-app bootRun

Once the server is up and listening on port 9555, the Vite proxy will be able to forward requests and login should work (e.g. admin@localhost.com / admin or user@localhost.com / user).

In short: the problem is not the username/password, but the fact that the API on port 9555 is not running. Start the backend and try logging in again.
