Thanks for adding the showcase label. Best regards, |
@aarondunnington hi, at the moment the next step is to receive 3 approvals from the community. Sometimes it takes time to review the projects, but you're on a right track. :) |

I reviewed the web site which has plans to use the NFT collection eventually in a gaming platform. As I understand it they don't have a functional game and NFT holders are given a framework of characteristics that they can use to improvise their own games, lacking a functional metaverse or integration with other platforms.
I think that puts it into the same category as the 8 other projects that are listed with both tags nftproject and game, i.e. NFT collections intended for gaming who haven't got to the functional / integration part of their roadmap. Because of Cardano's slow progress I think this limitation applies to pretty much everybody now.
The one thing distinctive relative to what's already there now is the artwork, which is visually stunning: far beyond anything we already have on the Portal. The engagement on their Twitter feed suggests that people are looking forward to using this & that the demand for a more dynamic use of Cardano will be there when the metaverse integrations all start to proceed together.
So rather than tell this project "wait until your game is functional, then apply again" (which would be inconsistent with already listed projects who don't have functional games yet either), I'm going to vote for it & leave it for quorum to decide. If we don't get the other votes within whatever time frame is normal, then I'd look forward to the project applying again ASAP after they have a functional game & metaverse integration. 😎

Hi @fill-the-fill is there anything we can do to get this merge proposal approved? |
I've just noticed you are missing the preview image. Please add one to the showcase folder where all of the showcase images are being stored 🙂 |
|
@fill-the-fill I missed that one too. Somehow between the OP inline preview image & the committed JS file my brain registered the submission as complete 🤪 |
|
@katomm is this showcase image file within the size constraint suggested in #720 (comment)? It would be the largest image in the showcase by a good margin. |

Personally, I'm struggling to see how this is a showcase for the developer portal. (but this is just my opinion) What is more important: I don't think it's a good idea to accept more NFT projects at this time without further discussion of how we handle NFT projects in general. Anyone, please feel free to join the discussion here: #243 (We don't seem to be making any progress here because many people only seem interested in advertising.) |

Thank you for your contribution and for building on Cardano. This PR has been open for quite a while and I would like to give you a little feedback. Projects need 3 reviewer approvals and it seems the project didn't get enough "traction" among the reviewers. Please note that showcase projects need to provide a unique value from existing showcase items - which is especially difficult with many tokens and FT/NFT or FT/NFT platforms.
