🚀 how to use

  1. copy a link from any supported service
  2. paste it into sodalite
  3. choose your preferred quality and format
  4. download your file

the download manager shows real-time progress and you can queue multiple downloads.

📦 installation

🛠️ development setup

  1. clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/oterin/sodalite.git
cd sodalite
  1. set up the backend
cd server
pip install -r requirements.txt
python run.py
  1. set up the frontend
cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev

🚀 production deployment

the project is designed to be deployed on:

  • backend → any python hosting service
  • frontend → vercel (or similar)
  • requirements → ffmpeg installed on server
