Very confusing if you don't realise you're talking about the app file.

Actually is not entirely true. I use Lumen, and my config in app.php, is:
and in my config/api.php I have all my settings. |

I plan to revise some of these sections a bit more soon to clear up the Laravel/Lumen styles of configuration. |
