For some reason "mining = true" could make a node being stuck during sync.

Do not try to mine when "mining = true" and the node is not synced yet

Yeah same thing happened to me, i battled for almost a week and finally reached out on the ERG discord, some very good souls pointed me to the culprit, running the node with mining = true randomly stuck it.

Apparently a little gremlins has been found since the implementation of rockdb for the node database.
