Prerequisites

kterm for the terminal
curl for downloading (should come with kterm)
unzip and/or tar for extracting packages

Run the following script on your kindle:

sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gingrspacecadet/kpm/main/install-kpm.sh)"
