Update project.json packages and examples

• Update project.json packages to resolve security warnings
• Remove spar example. It has many security warnings, updating its packages creates conflicts, and I didn't want to invest the time to get it working again
• Update browser example to have explicit npm build sets instead of msbuild magic
• Adding logging to flaky test
• Minor improvements to some example apps and readme
