SG_UNMAP  SCSI Passthrough?

I have noticed that sg_unmap uses SCSI command "42".

My question is: if the SSD is inside an enclosure which does not  support command 42,
how is it possible to use ATA PASSTHOUGH and send the ATA trim command?

I tried (it should be command "06" but it does not work.
