The only occurrences I can see are:

1. https://github.com/phonegap/ios-sim/blob/a110ec9ae994c2c4b8881e096e3d78939d723520/Source/iPhoneSimulator.m#L97
2. https://github.com/phonegap/ios-sim/blob/a110ec9ae994c2c4b8881e096e3d78939d723520/Source/iPhoneSimulator.m#L106

and they both occur in the [iPhoneSimulator LoadSimulatorFramework:] as specified in the stack.
It appears error is not an NSError but an NSArray.

Which means https://github.com/phonegap/ios-sim/blob/a110ec9ae994c2c4b8881e096e3d78939d723520/Source/iPhoneSimulator.m#L96 actually returns an NSArray now, for Xcode 6.

.. which doesn't make sense, since the selector name is "loadAllPlatformsReturningError".
More likely it's because of this lazy copy: https://github.com/phonegap/ios-sim/blob/a110ec9ae994c2c4b8881e096e3d78939d723520/Source/iPhoneSimulator.m#L104-L108

error wasn't initialized to nil, and the loadPlatformsReturningError might not have set it if there was no error. So when it was used in line 106, it used a garbage object in memory.
