Some steps towards addressing #140
Gets rid of the warning messages and fixes the call to ":IPython"
However, the balloon function is still failing (not sure why).
Maintains compatibility with earlier versions of IPython.
However, I just wanted a quick and easy way to link my Vim and ipython qtconsole.
