Guarantees are weak, and we've seen crashes of .elapsed().

Would you consider cutting a new release soon?

For sake of completeness, the issue occurred on a machine with the following OS:

Debian 10 (buster)
4.19.0-18-cloud-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.208-1 (2021-09-29) x86_64 GNU/Linux
