Description

Any new app that has a menu bar item is not appearing in my menu bar, nowhere to be found in the visible, hidden, or always hidden sections.

There are four items in my hidden section:

And my always-hidden section is enabled.

But the rest of my menu bar items do not appear in any of the sections.

I can confirm in System Preferences that the menu bar items should be there.

When I search for hidden items, I can see these items under "Hidden". Notice the four items that are there properly. There is this weird symbol, and below that are the other menu bar items that should be there.

Nothing opens when I click on these items through the search.

I tried quitting and uninstalling Ice, but the problem persists. No luck when rebooting the computer either. To be clear, even when I quit or uninstall Ice entirely, the invisible menu bar items remain invisible.

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure, as this behavior persists no matter what I do (close Ice and reopen, uninstall Ice and reinstall, reboot the Mac).
