Your dependabot messages are spamming my notifications. Please fix that: I am not the only Storybook contributor who has raised this issue.

Hi @terrymun and @sk-pub,

Thanks for raising this and sorry that the Dependabot messages ended up cluttering your notifications — that wasn’t my intention at all. I’ll adjust my workflow to fix the issue.

That said, I’d kindly ask that issues like this aren’t reported to GitHub as if I were deliberately spamming. The workflow setup is there in part to handle the release process responsibly and transparently. I’ll do my part to make things smoother, and I’d appreciate if concerns could be kept within the repo before escalating externally.

I’d also like to clarify that the workflow exists partly because of the frequent release activity in Storybook itself. The release process could perhaps be made a bit more stable. Part of the reason my workflow is structured this way is precisely to cope with the very frequent Storybook releases — so it isn’t about spamming intentionally, but about trying to manage that flow more effectively.

Thanks for understanding!

It’s quite disappointing to hear that you blame this on the frequent release of storybook. That isn’t the problem. The problem is the mentions being included in the comments en masse.

Other OSS have frequent release cycles as well, and it is not something that is storybook-specific.
