When sidebar is collapsed subitems cannot be selected in mobile view

When you have a submenu with items and it is collapsed, on desktop view, the subitems can be selected (see screenshot below):

However, when you go into mobile view, by shrinking the screen,, the subitems cannot be selected and the arrows are not shown (see screenshot below):

If it is not collapsed and the same steps are done, then the display is perfect in mobile view, the arrows can be seen, in mobile view, and the subitems selected (see screenshot below):

So please can the subitems when collapsed and in mobile view be fixed please.

We will take a look at what is happening once you have provided reproduction code.

In general, you should not use the collapsed state on mobile resolutions. Normal usage is to have a hamburger then and display the menu full width when it is opened. I consider this a low priority issue, so might take a while...

Happy for you to take a look. Basically was thinking that when collapsed and shrink to mobile view, it should be the same as when not collapsed and shrink to mobile view.

This is a demo app, so if it is low priority then that is fine.

@vnbaaij this is also happening on smaller sized iPads and Microsoft Surface devices.

I'm implementing a change (for the next release) where the placement of the submenu is going to be dependent of the NavMenu status.
If it is collapsed, it will put the menu at the horizontal center instead of at the end when the NavMenu is being displayed in the 'mobile' view. Hope the screengrab below makes it clear:
