Looks great! Revisiting this page now I realize how outdated it is so we should definitely give this another refresher for new projects in the very near future.

This new file location feels wrong. We should be able to render the component at the same location as the markdown. Issue created #42225

This PR gives a design revamp to the Material UI showcase page. I've mostly switched it to be a 2-column grid instead of just a list so readers can see more items at the same time.
