Describe the bug
Copying a card from one board to another only copys the name of the card and the people assigned... no details, no attachments, no comments.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'triple dot'
2. Click on 'copy/move'
3. Click copy card
4. select a different board
5. goto said board
6. open card

Expected behavior
it should carry over all details and comments and attachments... i can understand not bringing over activity but everything else should copy. we use a lot of templates and have a template board... the copy feature has been awesome until just this week we noticed it stopped. guessing since last update.

Client details:

@luka-nextcloud You can also try to add a bit more context to it. The implementation of this was https://github.com/nextcloud/deck/pull/6452/files#diff-d107b4ded099a0e2f131a75efc62f56c05c52cdc8e20e214c2ad081d46c58b10 and as far as I remember from discussions with @grnd-alt the comments and attachments were left out by design for now, so I'd rather ocnsider this an enhancement.

Also we should rename the ticket as content of the card may be confusing (i assumed it is about the description, but it was not)

@juliusknorr Based on my latest tests, I've observed that the cloned card is completely empty, except for the title, which matches the original. The other fields are not being populated. Could you confirm if there’s any guideline or documentation available that specifies which fields should be copied over when utilizing the copy-card feature?

The topic mention from rakeniven was my topic at the forum. I found the Problem while my tests about NextCloud in pnprpg environments. 🤣
When Deck will be fixed, the GM can use NextCloud Deck for managing all NPCs and Items or Spells. Would love it!

@juliusknorr This problem is known since April, 22th. Is there a horizon in sight to get that bug down?
I would help, but more than reading code (with headache) and assembling a few lines of shellscript, it is behind my own horizon ;-)

I have misunderstood that, cause it is crazy to design this Nonsens IMHO.
Why moving and copying card when loosing all infos?
I remember times when that works fine so far.
It is like stuffing an truck with goods and loosing them while transport.
No offense, but I would like to read the idea behind this masterpiece of Tetris like magic trick 🤣

Okay, I did some tests again. When it is "byDesign", that all information, expect the titel, will not copied or moved, than:
"Why ist it sometimes copied or moved, and sometimes not?" So i guess this behavior is not "by design" it is a bug.

You are mixing two things.

One is the idea of copying content from a card (title, description, responsibility, attachments, comments).
Here you have to think about the use cases and not just your own preference.

The second is an error that you describe, but which is not exactly the same as the author of the issue describes.

Ehm ... I'm mixing two things? I posted in the forum. It was you, making an knot between my question in forum an this issue. ;-)

Anyway. The usecase of an Kanban-Board is to move Cards from one lane to another.
To another lane in the same board or a different board.

But when card informations will disapear by moving or copying it is bug ans makes the kanban system worthless.
And it doesn't matter, how to use the kanban-board or for witch purpose.

In typical environments it is also very important to use cards with standard informations.
So the aspect of copying the "templates", to alway have the right informations for the next step, is not to be underestimated.
When @grnd-alt would partizipate ob this discussion to explan what @juliusknorr remember from the discussions, it would be very helpfull. You and me @rakekniven are talking around a conversation we weren't there. In your case it is a guess of mine. I wasn't there by 100% ;-)
