2.0 is buggy and rubix doesn't allow us to update. Rubix 1.x has a newer version but requires a retrained model. This again needs a breaking change (major version) here so admins see the critical jump and run the training right after the app update.
Once RubixML/ML#261 is in we can switch back to the original rubix.
I have tested upgrade compatibility by training a model with the old version, then upgrading and using the same model for prediction. That works flawlessly.
