@arturoc says this is ok, it looks like @openframeworks (@ofTheo?) is ok with this #744 (comment) so i'm going to figure out how to merge it and make this happen.

great. welcome to the future :)

if there are PRs for changes to examples, this will cause conflicts, but hopefully the change is obvious enough to fix easily. i'd be glad to help with any migration issues.

ah, this is almost done. i need to update the templates also. there were a few things i missed but it was hard to see. the above was just for all the examples.

you don't argue with @openframeworks ;)
he is not me, its a shadowy figure who watches over us all.

ps: RIP testApp ....

just remember with the xcode and ios ones not to open them in xcode, its much safer / easier to edit the pbjproj directly.

@ofTheo yes i edited the files directly and they're in now (i didn't do a PR, since it was basically forgotten from this one). thanks!

this is already done, so it's probably besides the point, but I always think of the "of" prefix for openframeworks code, and this seems like "user code", not necessarily OF code -- I could imagine this distinction being blurred a little bit by this. I am definitely in favor of retiring testApp at any rate...
