Most people install Postal on virtual servers. However, some providers have widespread IP blacklisting issues—DigitalOcean and Linode, for example, have entire IP ranges that are fully blocked.

One thing to be aware of is you'll need to ensure that your provider does not block port 25 outbound. This is quite common and is used to prevent abuse from spammers.
