:lady_beetle: [BUG] Can't respond to message - "Can't send to other participants"

Describe the bug
I recently started messaging a new person and have a weird issue.
Whenever I receive a text I get it from "+4670[xxx]" (as expected). But I can not respond, it just says "Can't send to other participants".

I noticed that I can send messages to "+46070[xxx]" (re-add the 0 that you are supposed to strip when adding country code(?)) and they will get delivered but any messages I receive will be to "+4670[xxx].
So I en essence I have two "conversations", one for received messages and one for sent.

Just guessing, I thought that maybe their phone defaults to sending MMS instead and that it is misconfigured or something but I'm not even sure how I can see if a text message is SMS or MMS in quik. Some details about a text message would be a nice addition.

To Reproduce
No idea what the trigger is, never seen it with any other contact of mine.

Expected behavior
Being able to send a response. If that is not possible it would be very helpful know why.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: Mine is an Pixel 8, other side is a android Samsung (probably running whatever default Samsung is using)
• OS: Android 16, not sure about the other side.
• App Version: 4.1.1

Additional context
For whatever it is worth, if I send a picture (MMS) to +46070[xxx] it will not get delivered.

Realized that you can select a message and press the 'i' icon to get more information and it is indeed SMS (in both directions).

It is easy to reproduce in my case: When somebody calls me, not in my contacts, no SMS between us yet, and I try to start the SMS by tapping the "Send message" in the call log (Phone app), then the message appears. Once I add the person to my contacts, open Quik, select + (new message) and search for the contact, I can freely compose the SMS. Unpleasant, switching to built-in SMS app.

This may have been solved by: #490 As soon as a release is published, can you test and see if that works. In the meantime @brumwald you could delete the conversation, and then use #575 (comment) as a workaround.

Same issue, when the phone carrier sends me an automated message I cannot reply to it at all

Version 4.3.2, just loading spinner now instead of 'Can't send to other participants'.
No inbox messages to the new contact, has issue.
If contact already has inbox messages, no issue.

QUIK 4.3.2 > + > Search contact name > Select > Loading spinner with a contact name

Phone Dialer/Contacts app > Send a message > Loading spinner without a contact name

Composing new message to a new contact/phone number is broken. I can't make messages to anyone, except, they need to send me a message first or if there's already prior message history to that contact/phone number.
