FW 1.4.1 made HW 1.0 board non-functional

I have an AIOC from NA6D, HW 1.0 connected to a Mac. However, I use it in a Win11 ARM VM for Winlink. Zero issues until now. After flashing to 1.4.1 with dfu-util, the serial device appeared fine in Windows, but the audio device showed an exclamation mark in Device Manager with a "this device cannot start. (code 10)" error. Thankfully, downgrading to FW 1.2.0 restored its functionality.

Thanks a lot for testing on the v1.0 hardware. I am wondering what could be the issue.

Firstly, it should be totally safe to update to the v1.3.0 firmware. You can try that and post the result.

Regarding the v1.4.0 firmware, I am not sure what the issue is. There has been implemented a USB quirk workaround for MacOS, that could be the issue. Otherwise the v1.0 hardware runs fine on my Linux machine with the v1.4 series firmware.

In the mean time I want to wait for more feedback of other users. Windows is always tricky with these problems, because there are countless different windows versions out there, and it might just be a problem of q specific one.

The plot thickens. I've been attempting to get my AIOC to work with my iPhone and RadioMail. The developer was able to get his working with FW 1.4.1. I updated mine, set VPTT with aioc-util and RX appears to work. (Still awaiting guidance on TX...)

However, with FW 1.4.1, the audio devices don't appear in my Win11 ARM VM (using UTM) on a MacBook Air M2. The COM port for PTT does appear. The audio devices appear in macOS. Any ideas on what to check next? (I didn't have any problems with this configuration with FW 1.2 or 1.3.)

Further: I have the AIOC v1.0 hardware with v1.4.1 firmware. I haven't used it in anger yet (it's destined to be part of an AllStar node) however, I did write this little bit of Python for Windows to test Tx Audio / Rx Audio and PTT.

Only tested in Windows 10. Hope it's useful.
