Typeahead with google maps api

What a great plugin! I'm working with it, and it works very well with prefetch and remote suggestions.

is possible to use the plugin with google maps api? I'm trying to create suggestions based on localization and I can not understand how to use the api as the source of the plugin

@sandcar - You may want to look at pull request #220 and some of the related issues there, one of which mentioned Google APIs (Issue #206). These may or may not be what you're looking for, but they may be a good place to start.

@brianmhunt - thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it does not seem to help much for now. Is the 'compute' option available in the current version of typeahead?

@brianmhunt - I downloaded the version with the 'compute' option and give it a try. Got that works as follows:

....
var geocoder = new google.maps.Geocoder();
....

            computed: function (q, done) {
                geocoder.geocode({ address: q }, function (results, status) {

                    done($.map(results, function (result) {
                        return result.formatted_address;
                    }));
                });
            }

and so now I have the results from google maps :)
maybe you can check whether this is the best approach. This may also help somebody else with the same issue

@sandcar That's how I would do it to.

I would bear in mind that Typeahead.js may not end up pulling my request and it could go a different direction about this sort of thing entirely, but in the mean time hopefully the PR will do the trick for you.
