This pull request introduces updates to the Homebrew formula and its associated script for building the Azure CLI. The changes improve version tracking, clarify compatibility requirements, and modify the script's behavior for generating the formula.

Updates to Homebrew formula:

  • Added a livecheck block to the AzureCli formula to automatically track the latest Azure CLI release version from GitHub. This ensures the formula stays up-to-date with the latest releases.
  • Updated the Python dependency to specify [email protected], noting that Azure CLI is not yet compatible with Python 3.9. This clarifies the compatibility requirements for the formula.

Modifications to formula generation script:

  • Updated the run.sh script to include a new option for the formula_generate.py script. By default, it updates the existing formula from the Homebrew master branch, but now users can append -b use_template to build from formula_template.txt. This provides more flexibility in how the formula is generated.
