add .zenodo.json file?

On a related note to the mailmap PR (#485), we could potentially also add a .zenodo.json so that Zenodo will get author names and affiliations right.

I have seen some other projects do this. For example: https://github.com/nipy/nipype/blob/master/.zenodo.json

The bulk of contributors from non-academic positions probably have little interest one way or another, but it might be nice to support it for those that want to add their affiliations here rather than having to edit that info manually over at the Zenodo site.

interesting, I had never seen that before. yes, it sounds fine with me. let's just add a comment in it though that this is for every contributor to maintain for themselves - if they move, then they need to update it via a PR or it will remain out of date
