I have installed iai_kinect2 on ROS Kinetic (latest version). I compiled and worked fine with just small PCL configuration. Since in Kinetic cv_bridge depends on OpenCV 3 there is no issue with compiling.

Hi,
I tested it today on 16.04 and the only problem I found was a warning relating Eigen, which I fixed in the devel branch. No other changes were necessary. Could you check if it is working for you too?
