Description
⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
- This is a bug, not a question or a configuration/webserver/proxy issue.
- This issue is not already reported on Github OR Nextcloud Community Forum (I've searched it).
- Nextcloud Server is up to date. See Maintenance and Release Schedule for supported versions.
- I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.
Bug description
When trying to delete the contents of the “Website” field under "Personal settings" → "Personal info", Nextcloud shows “Invalid value”, and as a result the content is not deleted and the empty field is not saved:
Tested on Nextcloud 31.0.8 and 32 RC1.
See this forum post for more information and a potential solution: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/prepend-https-to-web-site-in-profile/231705/5 https://help.nextcloud.com/t/invalid-information-is-stored-and-cannot-be-deleted/231844/2
Expected behavior
The empty field gets saved, and then stays emty. Alternatively, a delete icon could be provided next to the field to make it clearer to the user how they can delete it.
